Reporting to the Director, Value Management, the Marketing Analyst - Loyalty & Retention, will be accountable for identifying & supporting best in class Acquisition programs through deep analysis of sales, channel results and regional performance data. As a member of the Value Management team, the individual will contribute to team success by identifying areas of opportunity/risk and recommending well thought out strategies and comprehensive business cases to improve customer experience, increase revenue and identify future growth opportunities.
The Marketing Analyst will support the Value Management Director, Market Managers and Operations Managers with campaign sizing, customer lists generation, performance tracking and post-mortem analysis.
The Marketing Analyst will work closely with and influence the Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product Management and Business Intelligence teams. Required to be a subject matter expert in analytics, finance and marketing.
ACADEMIC TRAINING
- University Degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.
- MBA is an asset.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a related industry with the majority in a large tele/cable communications company an asset. Experience in marketing analytics mandatory.
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
- Advanced knowledge of Office tools (Excel, PPT), and visualization tools (Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, Qlik or equivalent).
- Deep and broad understanding of campaign management tool preferred (such as Unica Campaign, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign or similar).
- Good understanding of modern data infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, Big Query).
- Good understanding of SQL.
- Constantly challenging the status quo, pushing the organisation to deliver what is required to hit the numbers.
- Strong storyteller, able to build a strategy through to execution.
- Drive data excellence – data based decision making.
- Foster and values open dialogue & cross-functional team work.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to present to sr leadership.
- Bilingualism English/French is an asset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems independently as role will involve little in terms of technical support from manager.
- Winning customer service attitude and quality consciousness.
